What is Visionary Fiction?

Visionary is a tone as well as a genre. The ‘visionary’ element can technically be present in any genre and set at any time. Visionary fiction unequivocally embraces spiritual and esoteric wisdom, often sourced from ancient knowledge, and seamlessly applies it to modern life. While maintaining a robust spiritual theme, it refrains from proselytizing or preaching. The plot or story exhibits a universal worldview and scope. So, in short, the emphasis is on our limitless human potential, where transformation and evolution are entirely possible.

The five novels in my Ascension series explore the potential for extraordinary outcomes across five levels of fiction. They incorporate spiritual science, visions, paranormal events, psychic abilities, and other metaphysical plot devices.

The two other novels about the Self-Employed Housewife are fictionalized biographies. All names and places are changed to protect the individuals.

Becoming my own publisher.

After my dear soul mate of 22 years, Robin Beck, my publisher and the love of my life, passed from this physical reality, I asked for guidance, especially to finish my soul purpose project, writing about our Awakening to our ascension through the visionary fiction genre.

My years of research took me on several roller coasters with many different beliefs surrounding the questions: where we came from, who we are and why we choose to incarnate.

In 2001, I served as the book stylist and cover designer of Kima Global Publishers and travelled with Robin to many book fairs. During those years, we kept up our Spiritual science studies. Our motto was to make a difference in people’s lives.

Robin was the kindest man alive. He passed over in January 2023, and it broke my heart. I thought the best was behind me, but during the staggering weight of despair and unforeseen circumstances, I knew I needed to regain control of my Soul purpose, finishing my visionary five-stage novels about the Jaarsma Clan.

The duality of our lives and the power of perception gave me a chance to look back in wonderment and gratitude. This novel aims to raise awareness simultaneously; my grieving lifted.

I decided to release all my publications for a donation under the title ‘The Power of Words’. This will begin in May 2024 and is intended as a gift to humanity during the upcoming challenging years. Additionally, readers can access electronic and printed versions of my ‘Awakening to Our Ascension’ novels and workbooks.

I dedicate all my visionary fiction writings by acknowledging Robin Beck, who, during the month before his passing, started writing the first pages of the fifth novel in the Awakening to our ascension series: The Prophet’s Game.
